20 semifinalists

The top 20 illustrators from the 5 heats advance to a live semi-final battle which is held in Prague, and it’s here that the best analog and digital illustrations will be chosen by a professional jury. The jury will also announce the deadlines and themes for each round every 21 days.

8 finalists

The semi-final rounds will all happen in one night accompanied by an impressive show and some wicked creative activities. Analog and digital battles will be performed within a 90- minute time limit and in front of a live audience and jury. The advancing finalists are chosen by the professional jury and the public. These 8 finalists (aka wrestlers) will then compete in the finals.

The grand final of the whole competition is an epic battle with two winners - the "King of Digital" and the "Master of Analog". There will also be a festival during the day with illustrator meetups, markets and even more for people that like it RAW!

Rules of
wrestling

The theme is announced right before the battle starts. The wrestlers have 90 minutes to show off their talent. The internet, fonts, colours, patterns, pictures and other media are all allowed in the battle. The public and an expert jury vote for the winner

Vladimír Strejček

Illustrator, teacher and founder of DRAWetc. studio.

Vladimir’s experience with commercial illustration stretches back to 1998. In 2002 he started DRAWetc. studio with his friends and built a full-service visual studio. His tasks are to accept new contracts and suggest an ideal solution on the studio`s side. He is an expert in illustration licenses and also in the Czech illustration scene. He also teaches the basics of commercial illustration at Scholastika design school. In his free time, Vladimir writes comic books.

Michal Suchánek

3D graphic and CGI visual designer and comic book illustrator.

Michal is a Vaclav Hollar Art school graduate and one of the best Czech illustrators around. He excels in American style comic lines and handwriting. His comic book Scary joy, for Ondrej Neff’s original story script, shows that Czech illustration is capable of meeting international standards.

Marek Linhart

Associate Creative Director at Ogilvy One.

A copywriter who found his way after realizing that one cannot really practice "literary theory and stuff" as a legitimate job. There are some hefty awards on his shelf, including a D&AD, One show merit, PIAF, EFFIE and a number of awards from ADC ČR, Český Direkt and ČCPR. He is now based in Ogilvy, but freelance as well. Apart from idea-making, he is an occasional translator, photographer and awards coordinator.

Lee Bofkin

Cofounder & CEO, Global Street Art.

Global Street Art is a unique artist-led street art channel that holds the largest online street art archive. Lee Bofkin is also founder of the pioneering Walls Project, which has organised 500 legal murals since 2012. Holding a PhD in Evolutionary Mathematics from Cambridge, Lee has travelled the world extensively documenting street art world-wide and taken more than 60,000 photographs for Global Street Art.

Producer, illustrator and comic book author

Vladimír Brož is one of the most famous rappers and hip-hop producers in the Czech Republic. He is the cofounder of the legendary PSH hip-hop crew and also the BiggBoss label. He is not only a great musician and producer but is also known as a talented artist and illustrator. We can say that Vladimir is one of the legends of the street art scene in the Czech Republic.
